The Draft Korumburra Streetscape Master Plan project has attracted strong community interest with over 70 written responses and additional verbal feedback received through street stalls and community group meetings. Of the written responses received, 44% were from residents of Korumburra and surrounds, and 27% were from businesses in Korumburra’s retail centre. Full press release

12/5/2015 – Community Members and Council are thrilled that the final contribution of $1.6 million from the Federal Government towards the Karmai Community Childrens Centre has been announced. Congratulations to all the volunteers involved. It has taken over six years, but the project is a great example of community and all levels of Government working together.
